H'burg man wins "best employee"

Jeremy Thornton of Hattiesburg, an Outside Sales representative at MCS Insulation, was recognized as "Best Employee" last week.

Insulate America offers a quarterly program called "Best Employee" in which Thornton received a free T-shirt, certificate and a $100 gift card from American Express.

Thornton has only been with the company since October and is already showing exceptional leadership, according to company officials. His name will be entered into their final drawing in December. First place will receive $10,000, second place will receive $5,000, two third and fourth place winners will receive $2,500, and six people will win sixth place of $1,000 each.

“Thornton has done a fantastic job since Day One,” said Hank Lott, company CEO. “His attention to detail and quick response to customer needs are merely a few reasons why Thornton was nominated for “Best Employee in America” by MCS Insulation.”

Thornton was recognized at a ceremony in his honor at MCS Insulation’s headquarters in Sumrall. Thornton was surprised when he walked into the conference room full of attendees present to celebrate his achievement.
