Shows named Mag. State branch head

Magnolia State Bank has appointed Nathan Shows as branch president of Hattiesburg.

Shows is a 2003 Mississippi State University graduate with a B.A. in Business Administration. He served as Assistant Branch Manager at Regions and then Branch Manager at Citizens National Bank. Most recently, he has served as Senior Vice President and Relationship Banker for Citizens National Bank.

“We are very fortunate to have Nathan join our team,” CEO Kris Mangum said.

Shows and his wife, Mary Anna, live in Sumrall, along with their four-year-old son, Brent, and newborn daughter, Anna Lynn. The family attends Venture Church in Hattiesburg. Shows is active in various civic organizations.

On Monday, April 24, Magnolia State Bank opened its doors at its new Hwy. 98 location.
