PREP POLL: Hattiesburg stays put, Lumberton drops

By STAFF REPORTS,

There wasn’t many changes in this week’s Associated Press Prep Poll, as the Hattiesburg Tigers remain the lone team in the Overall Top 10 at No. 5. The Tigers are just three votes behind Starkville, though.

Hattiesburg also stays put at No. 2 in the 5A Poll.

The biggest change, however, came in the 1A Poll, as Lumberton dropped from No. 3 to tied at Ho. 4 for region rival Stringer. The Panthers lost to Taylorsville, a 2A team, last week.
