Suspect charged with numerous burglaries

On Thursday, May 31, Hattiesburg Police arrested Robert Donaldson Jr. during the process of a commercial burglary.

Donaldson, 32, was arrested at Mingledorff’s, an HVAC equipment distributor located in the 1800-block of Lincoln Road in Hattiesburg after officers responded to an alarm call around 2:30 a.m.

Donaldson also has active arrest warrants for previous commercial burglaries in the Hub City, and will face charges on the following:

  • 1508 Hardy Street, Hardy Street Baptist Church, for commercial burglary.
  • 2010 West Pine Street, Dandy Dan’s, for felony malicious mischief.
  • 2617 Lincoln Road, AWA African Hair Braiding, for commercial burglary.
  • 2702 Lincoln Road, First Bank, for commercial burglary.
  • 2702 Lincoln Road, First Bank, for commercial burglary.
  • 1851 Lincoln Road, Mingledorff’s, for commercial burglary.
  • 2627 Lincoln Road, Boost Mobile, for commercial burglary x 2
  • 1920 Broadway Drive, Lil Car Wash, for felony malicious mischief.
  • 1920 Broadway Drive, Lil Car Wash, for felony malicious mischief.
  • 107 S. 17th Avenue, Hattiesburg Zoo concession stand, for commercial burglary.

 

There are additional counts of commercial burglary that could be added as the investigation is ongoing.

Donaldson is currently being held in the Forrest County Jail.
