Ah, the culmination of another group of high school careers.
First off, congratulations to all the high school and college graduates in the area – it’s a long trip and a lot of work to get to where you’re at, and you deserve it.
It’s hard for me to believe, but I graduated from high school 26 years ago this week.
Might as well have been yesterday, as far as I’m concerned.
I have written it many times before, but by all accounts, high school graduation is simultaneously one of the most important – and least important – moments of your life.
Admit it. Hattiesburg Public School District has a bad reputation. But whose fault is that? Probably yours.
Choosing a song for my column this week was easy, and it’s apropos of the topic I’ve chosen.
